I’ve been a long-time fan of the talented comic artist Daniel Locke, so was delighted to secure Arts Council England funding to work with him on this virtual reality project ‘Through a Forest Wilderness’. We collaborated with Sandbox to draw virtual reality environments using Google’s Tilt Brush. We created two environments inspired by themes of re-wilding and the natural world and based on interviews and research with Ecologists at Sussex University. My VR environment was the ‘Tame’ one based on 18th century notions of landscape gardening and the English Garden aesthetic. Daniel Locke drew the  ‘Wild’ environment that explored the effect of rewinding which you can see here.
